Burial Ritual (Performing)

1PietyJob Kind ReligiousJob Kind Mysticism

Description

Burial rituals vary wildly between societies, but they all fill the same role: to cope with the inescapability and permanence of death. Hindus practice cremation, while Mongols perform the Sky Burial, which involves letting the body be devoured by birds. Odder, at least for monotheistic religions, are the practices of a few tribes of endocannibalism (eating the dead) or dancing with the remains every few years. EVENT: This is the active version of the ritual; it has a 20% chance per turn to stop; once it happens, 3-6 Legacy Points will be granted.
