Description

Endowed with significant power, the King's Agent is neither truly a spy nor entirely above board. This trusted emissary is dispatched by the monarch to convey crucial messages, edicts, or simply to ensure that orders are executed. Acting as a conduit between the monarch and local lords, he ensures the smooth communication and execution of royal directives. When the King's Agent is stationed in a capital region (including Summer/Winter Palaces), an additional bodyguard is provided for the ruler's protection (EVENT). Though a rare appointment, maintaining a King's Agent can strain the treasury, as he requires funds to hasten the completion of projects and decrees. Character loyalty bonuses apply only to characters in the same region as the King's Agent.
