Tin Mine
1InfrastructureInfrastructure
Description
Tin has been mined since ancient times for the production of bronze. It was also used as an alloy in making pewter, a flexible metal used extensively in the Middle Ages for the manufacture of plates, cups, bowls and utensils. Tin plating was a process of coating metal with tin to prevent rust, which was sometimes used to coat medieval construction materials such as nails and iron sheets.
