Description

The Early Furnace is an upgrade of the Crude Smelter which is used to melt iron at a low temperature, making wrought iron (bendable). Adding Coal (charcoal preferably) will produce some steel of average quality. Can be upgraded further to the Tier II Furnace. This is a superior version of the Bloomery, only available to Muslims nations, the result of contact with India and its excellent wootz steel manufacturing process.
