Restored Aqueduct

2InfrastructureJob Kind HealthJob Kind Healthdetail

Description

The local aqueduct, built by the wise and powerful Romans can be restored, if we put a lot of effort into it. This is a rare opportunity, and despite the costs, what it will bring to the city won't be matched by our current water system. Only regions with significant Stewardship will have the resolve to engage in such monumental restoration task. Aqueducts are very much associated with Roman antiquity, justly so. And yet several aqueducts were known to work up to the XIIth century, some being even restored and maintained, like in the Byzantium empire or in Valencia (Spain). Later in the period, the Ottomans resumed this kind of monumental structure, for their own cities.
