This large and costly building is the improved version of the more common Library. Only a few Muslim cities will have it and it will help greatly the savants and philosophers in their endeavor. The Legacy it can generate is exceptionnal, but it is prone from being destroyed in case of a raid. In the IXth century, the Caliph of Baghdad built a library to includes many manuscripts and books from around the world (from Greece to China). It became so large that it has to be expanded greatly by his son, who turned the initial building into an academy of wisdom and science, with many scholars greeted to study. Over the years, during the 'Islamic Golden Age', more libraries opened in major cities. It abruptly came to an end with the Mongol's invasion and the sack of Baghdad (1258 CE).
