This is the 2nd step of the construction of an imposing and monumental Cathedral. The final step will provide several benefits to the owning nation. In this step, the building of the walls is well underway, using blocks of stone that are carefully cut and shaped to fit together. As the Cathedral begins to take shape, the workers will add additional features, such as windows, doors, and arches, to give the building its distinctive appearance. The roof of the Cathedral will typically be made of wood and will be supported by a network of beams and columns.
