Such friaries spread learning and charity in growing cities and strengthened Church authority among the urban population. EVENT: This building has a low chance per turn to remove permanently 1 Unrest point from a peasant or freemen population if it has 4 or more Unrest (each population unrest is 1 penalty to regional loyalty). -- The Franciscan Friary of Assisi, founded around 1210, is a historical example of such a religious community.
