Description

This building is a more modest version of the Science Academy. Fairly common in many Muslim cities, it will help the savants and philosophers in their endeavors. In the IXth century, the Caliph of Baghdad built a library to includes many manuscripts and books from around the world (from Greece to China). It became so large that it had to be expanded greatly by his son, who turned the initial building into an academy of wisdom and science, with many scholars greeted to study. Over the years, more libraries opened in major cities during the 'Islamic Golden Age'. It abruptly ended with the Mongol invasion and the sack of Baghdad (1258 CE).
