Chemin-de-ronde

2MilitaryMilitary

Description

Sometimes called Allure or Walkway, a Chemin-de-Ronde is a protected passage near the top of a wall, where soldiers can stand and patrol. This is a very common feature of many castles, but it might be improved with stairs, recesses, and bartizans. The regional stronghold will permanently receive an extra garrison and an increased anti-raiding capability.
