This Arsenal is exclusive to nations with a maritime tradition and will make producing warships even easier than with the more common shipyard. The quality of the ship will also be better, with more advanced techniques in hull making. In the classical era, ships were built with a very sturdy hull, where planks were held together in a very strong fashion, thanks to tenons (pieces of wood) inserted into mortises (holes in the planks shaping the hull). In Medieval Times, the process of hull making was often done in a kind of reverse fashion, with much fewer tenons and mortises, while planks were put against an internal frame (the ship 'skeleton'). The construction required less expertise, was slightly more fragile, and asked for more caulking to protect the hull against fouling.
