Equipped with candles, lanterns, various cudgels, and short blades, the much-appreciated Night Watch guards against thieves and brigands. In an epoch where public lighting was nonexistent (except in some cities like Cordoba in al-Andalus), being outside at night could be a terrifying experience. This Watch can deal with low-level threats but can't be upgraded, contrary to the line of Local, Town, then City watches. The Candle Shop will provide an efficiency bonus to the watch, resulting in an increase in Stewardship in the region.
