The local lord thinks nothing less than a wall of stone can stop determined assailants. Having one in a roughly circular shape within the village will be a great asset to defend it. A Timber Keep will reinforce it, in what could be viewed as a rustic castle of sort. This defensive building provides a decent defensive bonus for its level, and will boost the loyalty of the local governor (Peer of the Realm) if there is one (EVENT). In addition, it has enough room to store significant Food reserves in case of siege.
